My Safe Florida Program is a Government Grant for Florida Residents that covers 50% of your investment in hurricane protection, up to $5,000.

The insured value of your home (dwelling) should not exceed $300,000 to be eligible for this program.

All the openings in your home must be protected: Windows, Garage, and/or Exterior Doors.

The Legislature has allocated $250 million for this program.

As of October 1, 2007, $98.5 million has been spent or encumbered for inspection services and grants.
