PROLINE is an Approved |
The My Safe Florida Home Program is a Government Grant for Florida Residents that pays up to $5,000 as a matching grant for your investment in hurricane protection. If you live in a single-family, detached home you may be eligible for this program as long as the insured value of your home (dwelling) does not exceed $300,000.
Home owners who meet these requirements should apply for the grant immediately to take advantage of the readily available funds. The State of Florida has allocated $250 Million for Florida residents. Because the approval process takes about 3 – 6 months, we suggest your immediate action. PROLINE can help you determine your eligibility and help you with the paperwork.
Go to www.mysafefloridahome.com to apply. Once your application is approved, you will go through a home inspection by an accredited Wind Certification Inspection Company. PROLINE can help you with that part too. Once the inspection is completed you will receive an Inspection Report from My Safe Florida with their recommendations for improvements that will make your home more hurricane resistant.
The Inspection Report is not an approval for the grant. Once you receive the approved inspection report you will then need to apply for the grant on-line. If you are approved for the grant, you will then be notified in writing. Once you receive your grant approval letter you can go ahead and contract with an approved participating contractor - like PROLINE - to service your hurricane protection needs.
My Safe Florida Home’s matching grant will cover 50% of your investment in hurricane protection up to a maximum of $5,000.00. All the openings in the home must be protected: Windows and/or Exterior Doors.
Since this program started, hundreds of contractors signed up to participate and many of them are no longer in business. So when you are making the decision on who to work with, you cannot afford to work with a company that isn’t reliable, strong and well run. That’s why families all over South Florida depend on Proline. Call PROLINE today and let us help you protect your home.
